Five-sonde induction logging tool 5IK


The tool has the following modifications by max operating temperature T max and upper value of borehole hydrostatic pressure Pmax :
  by temperature: 120, 150, 175, 200 °С,
  by pressure: 80, 100, 120, 140 МPа. 
Designed for induction logging using 5 sondes that have different depth of investigation with simultaneous recording of apparent conductivity active and reactive components for every sonde. SP analog value is transmitted by the third conductor of the cable.

Used in open oil and gas holes filled with water- or oil-base mud; operates with a three-conductor carrying logging cable up to 7000 m long and log recorders that provide for command transfer and data receipt in “Manchester-2” code.

The tool contains five three-coil IL sondes –  3I0.3, 3I0.5, 3I0.85, 3I1.26, 3I2.05. All sondes have common receiving coil, common measuring channel and operate at the same frequency of 100 kHz.
